Children’s Ministry depends on volunteers. It is so important to take the time to say thank you to these valuable people. They are not looking for recognition and praise, but they ALWAYS appreciate it. I like to give little, inexpensive gifts to my volunteers monthly, quarterly, or annually, depending on their position. Bellow are some of the gifts that I have used.
| Gift | Thank you message |
| Mint Candy |
It is great to have someone like you who is in mint condition. You stay cool under pressure and your creative ideas are a breath of fresh air. Our Children’s Ministry would not be the same without you. Thank you for sharing your love of Christ with us. |
Coffee Mug |
A special thank you . . . For providing an extra boost of energy to every part of Children’s Ministry with your faithfulness! Click here to download free printable cards. |
Starburst Candy |
|
Bottled Water |
|
| American Idol Drinking Cup | This fun idea was less than a dollar. Purchase American Idol drinking cups from the party supply store. Fill them with candy (I used my children’s left over Easter Candy . . .shhh they have not even noticed yet). Attach a card that says: “Your dedication to Children’s Ministry Rocks!” Click here to download free printable cards. |
Where I like to shop:
My favorite store is the Dollar Tree. Most of these items may be picked up there for only $1. I also like Cracker Barrel. They carry an inspirational line of products that is super cute and unique. The best part is that they usually end up on clearance for 50% off, sometimes even 70%. I also like the grocery store. I am already there doing my personal shopping. It saves me an extra trip.
